Dawn Adams
Hi, I’m Dawn and I’m passionate about using movement, meditation and healing techniques to help everyone find the joy, peace and
clarity that exists within each of us.
I have been a fully qualified Personal Trainer for over 15
years, but I believe that meditation and learning to find calm and stillness can help us not just in fitness and sports but in every aspect of our professional and personal lives.
I trained with the British School of Meditation 10 years ago
and continue to develop both my own practice, learning and teaching. I enjoy teaching employees on behalf of the
organisations they work for as well as group classes and individuals on a one to one basis.
As the world continues to become more and more fast paced
and as change accelerates, life can feel chaotic and uncertain. Meditation can act as an anchor to keep us more grounded, offering a realisation that peace and clarity can be found within, if only we give ourselves the chance to simply be.
Meditation and mindfulness have helped me in a busy sales
management career and have always been something I can turn to when work life is full on and hectic. Meditation doesn’t change the outside world, but it has helped me to find the stillness to make better choices and to be more calm when the storm is going on around me.
Sport is a huge part of my life and I support this with training at the gym and lots of yoga! I enjoy an extreme challenge and moved from fitness competitions to boxing to
developing my passion for cycling both on the road and at the velodrome.
Living in the wonderful piece of paradise that we have here
means some amazing walks at the beach as well as cold swimming in the sea throughout the winter. I’m planning on working to develop my swimming more now that the summer and warmer waters are
here.
